Margiela cape
I'm still waiting for this California weather to make up its mind. I'm a creature of comfort and consistency, so all this fickle hot and cold is doing nothing for my mood. I'm always cold so I'm not one of those people that can get dressed with midday temperatures in mind and just bear the cold mornings and evenings in the name of fashion. Believe you me, I will lug that parka around to survive my frigid morning commute, shed all layers for my hour of lunch and daily Vitamin D soakfest, and get bundled again for the evening. Do I like all this putting-on and taking-off? NO. So I pray for summer to finally commit and stay until I can't stand the heat anymore and welcome the day I can sleep without my fan on.

i'm entirely the same with the weather.... and i hate being all hot during the day... so irritating, so layers it has too be :) i'm always lugging around all kinds of stuff...

caroline - it's a bit heavy but not to the point where your arm goes numb carrying it. it's a pretty sizable bag, thus lots of leather. but even when I put ridiculous amount of stuff in it (I'm like Mary Poppins) it was never super uncomfortable because of the thick shoulder strap piece. I'm just over the drawstring, that's why I'm letting it go even though I love the look of it.

So totally me. i am always the jacket wearer. . .and even after five years of this my boyfriend still gives me a look that says "you are way overdressed for the weather. . . " I like being warm. i don't like being cold. simple. BUT. . . the one big drawback of this, other than the constant removing and re-adding layers, is that i'm always the one with the largest bag in the group so i get guilted into carrying friends shit around. haha
love that cape dude .. and as for your hair, just trim it up and lighten it a little for the summer. you'd regret cutting your super long hair, it's so beautiful. xo
