I was invited by Natalie (@FashionIntel) to attend the launch of the new Brian Lichtenberg x Forever21 collection last week. Hadn't been to a "fashiony" event in a while so I left my hermit shell at home and actually attempted to be social for once. Admittedly, my decision to go was swayed by the food court that I knew would be adjacent to the red carpet below. Note to F21: Beverly Center Terrace was a great location idea - next time might I suggest a Panda Express x F21 collabo?

I ♥ Alicia. Follow her on Twitter - guaranteed never to get any work done ever again. Hug hug, kiss kiss, hug hug, big kiss, little hug, kiss kiss, little kiss.

Shop the collection here.
And also a trip to Wi Spa, where my friend rather abruptly asked me what I'm going to do about all my freckles/age spots; which, combined with my man's almost obsessive love of hats on me, prompted me to buy one of those wool floppy ones from American Apparel. Wore it out to protect my face from the blazing sun, but took it off after 30 seconds of forehead itching and a beaded upper lip a la Whitney Houston live. Oh and HELLO to the lovely sales associate, Jen, who recognized me and was met with an awkward/creepy smile and what was, I'm sure, a cracked-voice thank you. Sorry I was so sweaty. And now another week begins...
Don't forget to enter the giveaway and interrogation process!

sounds like a great weekend... still lovin your bikerjacketponcho :)
Nice disguise but I've got your gorgeous red carpet mug over on my blog. Thanks for coming out, and I'll definitely send your Panda Express idea over to F21 corporate.
Digging the photoshop here. I've got that same hat and let me warn you now, it has the capability to lose its shape with or without crack head sweat. I put mine on a couple of weeks ago while on vacation and it was completely flaccid, like it had just participated in a gang bang.
Hahaha love the photoshopped disguise. Totally unrecognizable ;) The hat looks good on ya.
hair chop = yessss. i bet it feels so good!!

I LOVE the fact that you and Alicia are friends, because you guys are two of the funniest peeps in the blogosphere.
We are soulmates. I decided.
And the love affair with photoshop...all I can say is that you two look splendid together.

Wow, that is quite the weekend! Great outfit for the "fashiony" event, and good choice for a hat regardless of the inevitable forehead itch.
♥ Ripped Nylon ♥
Hrm, if the hat is floppy, maybe you can wire the edge... then work it in to extreme shapes like a TRICORN HAT! Or something... ahem.
I LOVE freckles but I guess I don't really know the difference between them and age spots... huh...
I used to have what I thought MIGHT be TWO freckles on the tip of my nose. Until many many years later, upon my first use of a Biore nose strip, my 'freckles' came out... ohhhhh hello blackheads. :P (sorry if that was TMI! but I figure you can handle it...)
