NIGHT CRAWL

Sep 18, 2011

T by Alexander Wang tshirt // Zara dress // 3.1 Phillip Lim jacket // Yohji Yamamoto Dr Martens // Givenchy bag // Margiela rings

Drive is my new favorite movie. Perfect cinematography, perfect gore, perfect romance, perfect muscle cars, perfect score, perfect casting. It just goes to show that big budgets and great products are not mutually exclusive. Vision is everything. Two emphatic thumbs up.

*few more items for sale (for cheap!): Balmain, Lanvin H&M, Rick Owens

Um... excuse me, lady. Your outfit photos are missing the most important thing. It's almost perfect but I have to say I can't give you perfect score without KUMA ;) I need a dose of perky little ears and some fluffball goodness.

I have yet to see the movie, Drive. I've heard a lot of positive feedback about the movie. And this Ryan Gosling guy... he "kind of" makes me week in the knees.

Your skirt would've been perfect for this dancer at Splash (a gay club in nyc). His schlong was down to his knees, NO JOKE. I couldn't believe how big and long it was!!! At least your skirt would've hidden his tripod. But you dress way better than him. =)

Wedding planning is going alright. I just set up a universal registry. IT's the most amazing thing ever. YOu should do one, too!!!! It's not too late!

yes! first person ive heard that has seen it...

i was thinking it looked a little true romance-esque (best film i have ever seen to date) with a side of bullit.

can't wait. but may have to bring extra undergarments....

GLOVES!?!?!?

yum

loved that shot of paris vogue/ denim team too btw

love to see how much emmanulle really works those givenchys. repeatedly. would have killed to have those in the lace and hot pink!

omg you too?! i thought i was going crazy cause it seemed like i was the only one that hated it. i dont see what everyone is seeing. either people love it or completely hate it. im a film snob and i hated it. it was awkward and didnt coincide with certain elements. it was so off. im so baffled by this phenomenon!

SO. said...

hahahah sorry i guess from my wording, it can seem like i misunderstood. sorry im just ranting cause seems like everyone loved it. but yes, different strokes for different people. what i should really rant about is the gloriousness of your jacket. i cant wait to work to the bone just to dress like this!

The jacket is nice but I don't know about the rest of the ensemble.. :/ You could try out more kinds of styles u know?

When I saw that this post was about Drive, I really hoped the mp3 would be this song. Every time I hear it I just imagine that incredible "sad face" Carey Mulligan is so good at (in slow motion).
