The weather has been fickle in LA lately. All last week it was cold and overcast and then there would be a break in the clouds and intermittent sun. You have to stay on top of it though, or else you miss the warmth and the chance to go jacketless. I feel like the older I get the more bashful I am about showing skin. I'm turning into my mom? I guess I should enjoy tanks while I can.

VAUNTE

With all the new emerging fashion technology lately it's hard to keep up. Flash sales and closet auctions, it all gets jumbled and you can't really tell what's good. My default tends to be ignore ignore if it's all too much for me.

When Vaunte contacted me for a chance to purge some stuff, I was apprehensive at first, but loved the concept (and execution). It's well curated and photographed items from industry professionals and discerning women who love fashion. So not a bunch of old gym shorts and dollar tanks mixed in. Not that there's anything wrong with those, but sometimes you just want to browse through nice things at nice prices.

QUIET LUXURY

Anthem Wares really checked two big things off my want list with the the above ring and oil. I can already sense both reaching all sorts of new obsession levels. I'm getting greedy for piles of more dainty rings and my hair, lips, and body are now demanding for luxury attention as well. This is not good.

So...the secret reason I went to Barcelona recently was to shoot for Zara's Spring PEOPLE! campaign. It was a really intense short trip, but so exciting. Now that the campaign is up, I can finally share with you some of my own photos from Barcelona. Which I will now and forever call Barthelona.

Just got back from a whirlwind trip to Barcelona. Two days of travel and two days of work are kind of insane for going abroad; it's left me pretty much in sloth mode. I have little faith in my body to withstand such a second time. Nonetheless it was an exciting experience, made only doubly exciting by being in the motherland of Zara. I was able to finally pick up a decently affordable pair of real leather overalls (that I think I actually like better than all the rest). I don't think they're available in the US just yet, but I'd keep my eyes peeled. Too good a steal to pass up.
