I dropped my Nikon over the holidays and sadly the auto focus doesn't work anymore. While I waited to get it fixed, I mulled over getting a smaller camera that would be easier to carry. I knew I would go for a Micro Four Thirds, but couldn't decided on which one. It wasn't until I had lunch with Gennie and her Sony that I was swayed. I went straight to the nearest store and financed the very last one they had in stock. Got me a new lens too and now I'm ready to shoot.

what kind of nikon is it? i'm about to buy a d3100! this will be my third nikon so i've been doing tons of research on it. these are tough decisions.
That's the one I have! Or at least I think so. I am not sure about the K at the end, does that mean it is updated? Nevertheless I can say that you made a wise choice, it's a lovely camera.

oooo I've been eyeing this one off too...
me too. sometimes a D-SLR can be a bit heavy to carry (but I'm looking for a new one :D) so I think compact series is good. planning to get it later too..[once I've put up some personal photos in my blog]
