WARDROBE METHOD

I'm on vogue.com Vogue Daily today talking about how I update my wardrobe. My methods obviously aren't for everyone, but if you're like me and don't like too much stuff, you might adopt a similar rule for letting go of one old thing to let one new thing into your closet. Helps keep the pile-up at bay, and guilt to a minimum. Read the article here. And you can still shop some of the mentioned pieces here!

I love your attitude! There are so many reasons for a manageable small wardrobe with just your favourite pieces instead of buying seasonals en mass.

I have an obsession with a minimalist wardrobe. Minimalist in having under 100 pieces but not necessarily minimalist in style. I've revamped my entire wardrobe twice in 4 years. I get a little out of control when I purge. I went from 1 in one out to 1 in 3 out. Then the two total revamp sessions was like 40 things gone in one clean swoop. I sold all the designer stuff up until last summer, then I got lazy and downright pissed that I got so little for the amount I paid back from resale. So now my cleaning lady and her 5 sisters has a pretty kick ass wardrobe.
