DERBY DERBY

Can we just discuss this truly STOP IT RIGHT NOW moment? Aesthetically I love them. So retro and perfect in black and white, instead of getting kiddy with a bunch of unnecessary colors. But the craziest price tag for what they actually are. I hope people do buy these, but I hope those people are gajillionaires, or at the very least bajillionaires. (Can I borrow them?)

Thoughts, PLEASE.

Yeah I just passed by American Vintage on Melrose and they have cuter cheaper and more authentic ones in stock.

They are throw-back retro ;). I never got into the in-line thing so I still love my retro wheels (and yes I still roller skate - having kids gives you great excuses to play ;). The throw-back is certainly the style of shoe.

As for the price tag....well rich people are not known for their frugality. I have no comment (frankly the 1% are not really worth my time - beyond the discussion of inequity).
