A.L.C. makes clothes so perfectly wearable in every way. And now we have the bags to match. I'd never really been into having a variety of bags, but the hole was often felt when I'd see girls reaching into their duffels and quickly retrieving whatever they were looking for and well maybe I don't want to fumble around in my giant messenger for my keys after all! But now I'm covered. Sometimes bags are overly designed, but this one is perfectly classic, just how I like. I see a long term relationship ahead of us Lucas.

I always maintain that fashion is art, but in this case it couldn't be more literal. Intricate embroideries of artist Nate Lowman's works, including an actual fortune cookie message he got. There have been tons of artist x fashion house collaborations, but this from Nomia is by far one of my favorite executions. Quite literally art you wear.

TO SPIKE OR NOT TO SPIKE

that is the question.

so here are my Yohji Yamamoto for Doc Martens boots. they used to be the silver color that the insole is there, but i knew i'd get much more wear out of them if they were black (duh), so i had them professionally dyed. i had planned all along to spike the shit out of them like the junya boots i so covet below, but now that they've been dyed and i see them in all their black glory, i'm sort of into the plain-ness of them. what do you think?

maybe i'll just buy these from eBay and spike them instead.
