HITCH HIKER

Obey jacket // Zara linen tee // RVCA jeans // Acne boots

One of my favorite combos is all black with one brown item (same for black and navy). It's an easy way to incorporate color for those of us who have 80% black wardrobes. And speaking of the brown (which is actually caramel), this jacket is real suede and under $200. Now I just need it in black.

TERREX

Zara coat // Equipment sweater // Alexander Wang trousers // Adidas x Raf Simons shoes

I'm really loving the gloomy weather this week. There was a time when I hated any degree higher than the one where I could just wear a tshirt and jeans and be perfectly comfortable (which is usually around 76). Now the minute it dips into the 60s I reach for full on winter coats, just cause...when else can I?

On the topic of mens shoes (see below post), I managed to reverse squeeze my feet into these Adidas x Raf Simons. That's what thick socks are for. The colors are ugly and obnoxious in the most perfect way - something about burgundy/navy combos that just gets me. Shout out to Solestruck Mens for stocking the small sizes!

WONDER WOMAN

CÉLINE top // Zara shorts // CoRNETTI sandals

Simple 1-2-3. Top, shorts, sandals. Easy.

BLUE SKIES

T by Alexander Wang tee // Zara overalls // vintage flannel // CÉLINE sandals // CÉLINE bracelet

The weather has been so nice this week. A tiny bit chilly, but with full California sunshine. I hate to be indoors when the weather starts enticing me like this. But at least I finally have a new shooting situation, so you might see a lot more of this backdrop in the future. Better than nothing?

BEARFOOT

Zara blouse // vintage scarf // J Brand jeans // Céline furry sandals

I know. I know. They're the ugliest, most confusing shoes ever. Precisely why I like them? Surprisingly not as suffocating as you'd think either. At least not any more than any of the boots I'd be wearing otherwise. There is much to be said about toe ventilation.

And I leave you with a photo of Albert Einstein also sitting on steps also wearing furry slippers. Deep.

SUPER DUPER

Supermuse jacket // Zara linen tee // vintage Levi's // Adidas Superstars

I crawl out of bed at the last possible minute every weekday morning, usually ending up in head-to-toe black (cause when you're bleary eyed there's no time for color coordinating). So on the weekends I like to sometimes put on a zoot suit. JAY KAY. Not, I repeat, not. a. zoot. suit. Back to an important topic though - why am I so preoccupied with pinstripes these days? Someone please explain. 140 characters or less. Go.

BREVITY

Zara crepe tank // Mango leather sweatpants // Brook&Lyn necklace // Dries Van Noten boots // Loeffler Randall bag

The weather has been fickle in LA lately. All last week it was cold and overcast and then there would be a break in the clouds and intermittent sun. You have to stay on top of it though, or else you miss the warmth and the chance to go jacketless. I feel like the older I get the more bashful I am about showing skin. I'm turning into my mom? I guess I should enjoy tanks while I can.

GRATHIAS BARTHELONA

So...the secret reason I went to Barcelona recently was to shoot for Zara's Spring PEOPLE! campaign. It was a really intense short trip, but so exciting. Now that the campaign is up, I can finally share with you some of my own photos from Barcelona. Which I will now and forever call Barthelona.
1 // view outside my hotel window, Barcelona is such a beautiful city
2 // dinner the first night after a day of fittings; with Giulia, Pernille and Phil
3 // my exhaustion best represented by Anne's face
4 // shooting by the water
5 // "b" for Barthelona
6 // overcast but still such a nice day
7 // so many things to take in
8 // Phil and Giulia
9 // need to go back for some Hot & Crusty
10 // scheming how to sneak this look home
