LESS IS MORE

WANTED : small, plain bag with thin messenger strap

In need of a lighter, more convenient bag to take with me to NY in a few days. Would really just love a Trio, but I'm looking for something a little closer to the $0-$100 range. There is something to be said about the irony of having to pay more for minimal design?

I saw this a few days back on Yesstyle. I'm not sure about the quality, but it's a similar concept to the Trio. http://www.yesstyle.com/en/19th-street-multi-compartment-zip-clutch-orange-magenta-khaki-one/info.html/pid.1031023500

But seriously, you're the one person who really needs the Trio. It's soooooooo you.

went into Kurt Geiger when visited London and they had some nice minimal bags kind of Celine like.

Well.. Zara have a plack (or bright pink) patent pleather messenger bag with a chain strap + a strap with a few studs. Look it up, really nice and it fits more than you think. 25euro alos, niceprice.

There were bags very similar to this one at Cos eventhought I still think 70€ is a litte overprices for a rectangle with a zip.

Not sure how you might feel about this, but I was looking for something along the same lines as you, and I found this : http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/us/en/zara-us-S2012/189523/730026/COLOUR%2BMINI%2BMESSENGER%2BBAG

Update when you find one!

i love minimalist designs though. i once read somewhere about how we should spend more on basics because that's what we always wear. it's cost divided over the length of time we will wear it. it's worth it in that way.

beautiful bag.

Clare Vivier Sac Bretelle? But the attachment points may not be what you're envisioning? Her store just opened up so...

seeing this post too late to be of any use for your NY trip, but i just came across a small bag w two top zip compartments and a similar strap attachment... i have never before included a direct link to myself in a comment, but just for reference, it's this one: http://theloveship.blogspot.com/2012/06/tactics-of-practice.html

was about $80-90 i think? from "vegan" bag company matt and nat. i just liked it for practical and design reasons and made it my new go-to for days when i don't want to carry my whole life on my shoulder.
