THE BENEFIT OF STREET STYLE

left: Acne Pre Fall 13 // right: Hege Aurelie, photo by Adam Katz Sinding

Sometimes you are intrigued by fashion, or maybe downright confused. Your instincts tell you you appreciate it, but you're still not quite sure what to make of it. Then you see a street style photo that illustrates how you can take the craziest of things and make them totally wearable. These are the moments I love.

I totally agree with you. Always appreciate seeing a real world execution of some pieces that at first may seem somewhat over the top.

So happy right now that I have two vintage button up shirts, in this print, hanging in my closet. . . maybe i should sew them together to get this full skirt look? or wear one as a shirt and the other upside-down as crotchless drop-crotch pants!? Both possibilities I like.

Great example! This so crazy on the left photo, and so beautiful on the right!

This is a wonderful example, and wonderful example of good style. She looks amazing and I don't think i would have thought to pear this with a cropped moto jacket with an additional jacket.

My fav Runway to Street moments were the the Commes Des Garcons flat collection pieces we saw so many people rock during spring 13 fashion week. I loved that collection so much, and I was surprised to see so many people take the risk.
