JENNIFER FISHER x STOP IT RIGHT NOW

CÉLINE vest // Mango trousers // Jenni Kayne flats // Jennifer Fisher x STOP IT RIGHT NOW jewelry

So excited to announce my newest project, a capsule jewelry collection with Jennifer Fisher

I'm pretty no nonsense with jewelry. I usually opt for one crazy statement piece or minimal jewelry that melds into whatever I'm wearing. When we were planning the capsule I knew I wanted to do a matching necklace, bracelet, ring set - for each piece to be the same exact shape, but scaled down to fit the neck, wrist, and finger. In order for them to mimic each other, the thickness would need to somewhat match as well, starting with getting the ring as thick as possible without losing comfort. And each piece finished off with a blunt flat end. I really wanted each piece to be special enough to be worn on its own, but minimal enough to be worn together with an everyday outfit. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.

The capsule is available at Barneys New York in stores and online.

I've been following you for few years now and happy for your achievements. However, I was hugely surprised to see that "your collection" is an exact copy of Maison Martin Margiela jewelry. To be honest, it was a huge disappointment for me, personally, as I remember there was a note from you asking people not to still photos from your blog as PS them takes your time (which you'd rather spend sleeping) and now you stole the design from MMM and selling it…Don't you think that stealing design from a famous design house and name it after yourself is hugely disrespectful?!...

@Lit -
I actually had no idea there was an MMM piece like mine. I think in the world of jewelry there is a lot of overlap, sure some is blatant copying but some are just coincidentally the same idea. The concept of a circle with a cut out is not new in jewelry, it's been used for decades, like solitaire rings and hoop earrings. I didn't set out to reinvent the wheel here. Sorry you feel that the design was stolen, but at the time of creation it wasn't based off anything but the desire to create something simple and with character. Thanks for your feedback.

I love these. As someone else said, the only thing available on Barneys´website is the necklace. Is that it - does that mean there is no chance to get the ring or the bracelet :(?

@MK -
Thank you! If they are no longer available online, you can get then from the physical Barney's locations. If there are none near you, you can always call and have them ship to you :) also the site might restock so maybe just check back? Thanks for your support!

This outfit is not like anything I've seen. The clean lines, the simplicity. It's fabulous. Keep it up!
